Product Overview
NANI app is a platform for parents and babysitters to get connected. It will help the parents to book or hire a babysitter online based on their needs and expectations, and will also help babysitters to find jobs based in their availability and expectations.
It’s a safe space that focus on prioritizing safety, verification and compatibility while connecting with reliable people, both ways.

Problem Statment
A lot of families need need a babysitter for a one day or more regularly, depending on their needs. Many times to be able to go out, to an event, meeting or simply to be able to work. It is really difficult for families to find a trustworthy and realiable babysitter, to whom they can entrust their children and feel calm that they are in good hands.
On the other hand, there are many babysitters who do not know how to get jobs, because they have specific times to work, since many of them study or have other jobs.
The goal is to create a mobile application that simplifies the process of finding and hiring a babysitter that matches your needs, prioritizing the safety of the children, making the process easy, quick and enjoyable.

I conducted a personal interview with 5 families with different profiles, where I asked them several questions, and they have told me more about their day-to-day life and their real needs.
Observations
The main reason why parents do not hire someone online to take care of their children is the lack of trust and the fear of leaving them with someone they barely know.
Most families do not have family support to care for their children.
Everyday more and more families need support with the care of their children, for personal activities and to focus on working.
Families would feel more confident in hiring a nanny if they have more verified information about the nanny and reviews of other jobs.
It is important for parents to have a trusted person or an easy method of finding a babysitter with short notice as in an emergency.
